Daniel Sarmiento is an academic, lawyer and entrepreneur specialized in European Union Law. Besides practicing law in a leading Spanish law firm, he teaches intensively on all EU-related areas of law, as well as promoting EU Law through EU Law Live, an information platform of which he is Editor-in-Chief and founder. He teaches in IE Law School, IE University, since 2015. His practice in European Union law covers a wide range of areas, such as fundamental rights, state aid, banking law, litigation and constitutional law.
